The programs
The vision for Chiaquelane, which was developed in partnership between Reading3000 and the local people, is to build a self-sustaining community with the church at its centre. This section of the site explains how it is hoped that this will become reality through the various program areas that are being set-up and developed.

Reading3000 pays for general running costs such as transport and camp food. In the future the profits from the income generating projects will take over this expenditure to make the project self-sustaining.
